What a great idea - a mini sampler of children's stories, all fun adventure stories written to appeal particularly to reluctant readers of primary school age, and likely to appeal to boys and girls alike. This free book will encourage children to try all four, and then pick which one they would like to read in full. Much better psychology to say "which of these four would you like to read?" and give the chance to try each one, rather than the open-ended "Choose a book to read" - the chances being that they will want to read at least one in full, and maybe even all four! (I've read all four of these books in full before, and they're all appealing.)
Worth downloading on your own or phone app to pass to your child for inspection on occasions when they might otherwise be bored - in a traffic jam, in the supermarket queue, waiting for an appointment etc.
Although I've seen plenty of anthologies, I've never seen a children's one quite like this before, and I suspect it could catch on!
